The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the NY Jets last Sunday at the Link to improve their record to 3-2. Nobody really expected the Jets to put up a fight playing their 3rd string QB and an offensive unit that is last in the league in total yards. As bad as the Jets offense is the Eagles defense hasn't played that well either. Going into last Sundays game the Eagles D had the fewest sacks in the NFL, however the Jets were just what the doctor ordered. Brandon Graham and the Eagles defense recorded 10 sacks against the Jets and Graham had a career high 3 sacks to lead the defense to a dominant performance. The Eagles secondary is still healing and playing guys that weren't even on the roster at the beginning of the season. Howie Roseman still hasn't pulled the trigger on a trade to improve the secondary which has its work cut out for them over the next three weeks. The Eagles go on the road the next three weeks and face the Vikings, Cowboys, and Bills all who have winning records. Then the Eagles come home to face the Bears before the bye. The Eagles have a very tough schedule over the next 6 weeks. We will see how good this team is and what they're made of!!!
