Sergio Santos bails out Philadelphia in the 84th Minute

The New York Red Bulls and Philadelphia Union matchup ended in a 1-1 draw. Philadelphia was sloppy throughout the whole game up until the 84th minute where the hero for Philadelphia, Sergio Santos scored with the help of Alejandro Bedoya and Olivier Mbaizo.

How Did the Union Step Up in the Second Half?

Let's keep this in mind, Philadelphia all game long struggled to win one on one battles against a very tough RedBulls defense. In the 84th minute that all changed for the Union. After Mbaizo lost touch of the ball, a New York defender kicked it out, and Bedoya ran over to throw it back to Mbaizo. After a perfect throw-in from Bedoya, Mbaizo crossed the ball and found Santos who scored to even it up. The boys in blue made a huge adjustment in the second half to walk out with points last night.
