Three Skaters to watch for in the Player Development Camp

Hockey is back! Philadelphia Flyers will be hosting a player development camp from August 28th through September 1st. The Flyers will have twenty-nine invitees who will participate in the camp. I have 3 players who might surprise the majority of the coaches such as center Morgan Frost and wingers Zayde Wisdom, and Samu Tuomaala

Players who should surprise the Coaches

1). Center Morgan Frost didn’t play that much this past season because of injury. In the 2019-2020 season Frost played 20 games with 2 goals, 5 assists, 7 points, and 10 takeaways. Some of Morgan’s strengths are having great puck control and his poke checks ability.

What will Morgan present in camp:

If Morgan Frost plays with good energy and shows off what he did 2 years ago, Frost will be an NHL player in the fall.

2). Winger Zayde Wisdom played for the Phantoms last year and posted 7 goals, 11 assists, and 28 points in 28 games. Zayde Wisdom has that speed to get away from his opponents and is very physical at the net.

What will Zayde express in camp:

Wisdom needs to be that physical presence at camp

3). Winger, Samu Tuomaala played for a team in Finland called Karpat and posted 16 goals, 19 assists, and 35 points. Samu is a talented winger who can be a dangerous scorer in different parts of the net. He muscles his way past his opponents to have an open area to score.

What will Samu display in camp:

Tuomaala needs to use his talented skills to wow the coaches and while he is at camp. These players may be far off from making it to the NHL level but it is sure fun to see what the future holds for the Philadelphia Flyers.
