Eagles Win Pre-season Opener while BFL comes to Wildwood and SJLG Championships rescheduled

It’s a hectic weekend for The Locker Room with Billy Schweim. I attended the Eagles first pre-season game at the Link Thursday night. Besides my daughter and her friend being on Fanavision for an extended period of time, the other highlight was the Eagles backup QB Tanner McKee.
McKee played well, and looked like he was in mid season form. He went 20/25 for 252 yds and threw for two touchdowns and had a 135.3 passer rating. We will recap the Eagles first preseason game as we broadcast Live from the Beach in Wildwood, New Jersey for the Beach Football League tryouts. 2X Super Bowl Champion from the New England Patriots Tully Banta-Cain brings the BFL to South Jersey. We will be there broadcasting from the beach in Wildwood.
The South Jersey Lifeguard Championships that were scheduled for Friday night have been postponed until Monday. Not to worry, If you can’t be there, The Locker Room will bring it to you Live from the Beach in Avalon from 6-8pm on 97.3 FM ESPN South Jersey and streaming live on my Youtube and X platforms.
The Philadelphia Phillies start a three-game series against the Texas Rangers this weekend and embark on the longest roadtrip of the season. Phillies lefthander Cristopher Sanchez gets the ball in game one Friday night. We will have all the results and reaction to the Phillies series this weekend!
On Saturday’s show, Producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dave Klemic join me on the Beach in Wildwood. We will be broadcasting Live at the Beach Football League tryouts from 10 am to Noon. We will react to the Eagles' first preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals. 2x Super Bowl Champ Tully Banta-Cain will stop by to talk about the BFL.

We will also talk Eagles and Training Camp this weekend
