Philadelphia Sports Drama Intensifies Prior To Super Bowl 60

The week leading up to Super Bowl 60 has been a wild one. The Locker Room with Billy Schweim joined Mike Gill and The Sports Bash in San Francisco at Radio Row along with Nick Earnshaw, Alex Berardis, and Scott Grayson from Fox 29 Philadelphia.
While we were in San Francisco, the Eagles parted ways with very popular offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Stout was a beloved coach with the Eagles players from 2013 to 2025, who owns two Super Bowl rings. Eagles
Left Tackle Jordan Mailata was quoted “I balled my eyes out” when he heard about Stoutland’s departure.
The Sixers were not to be outdone by the Eagles, the Sixers made a major trade on Wednesday, sending Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for a 2026 first round pick and two 2028 second-round picks. Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey was shocked and hurt by the trade.
Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet has come under fire lately for the sophomore slump of Matvei Michkov. Flyers General Manager Danny Briere met with the media on Tuesday to dispel any misconceptions about the future of Michkov, and explained Tocchet’s approach on teaching the Flyers players what it takes to be a pro hockey player in the NHL.
All of this drama was taking place while The Locker Room and The Sports Bash was in San Francisco attending radio row prior to Super Bowl XL.
