The Philadelphia Phillies regular season comes to an end this Sunday. The Phils secured a first-round bye in the MLB playoffs and can finish the regular season on a high note against the Minnesota Twins at the Bank this weekend.
Red October is almost here, and Philly Sports fans can’t wait. Phillies shortstop Trea Turner is unlikely to play Friday night. and we might not see him until the playoffs start which is concerning for some people. But Edmundo Sosa has play great since his return from the Injured List.
The Eagles are heading to Tampa Bay to face the Bucs this Sunday, a team that they just can’t beat. Under Head Coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles are 1-4 against Bucs and Head Coach Todd Bowles.
Against the rest of the NFL, Sirianni is 56-19 during his tenure. Kickoff on Sunday is at 1pm and you can hear Merrill Reece and Mike Quuck call all the action on 97.3 ESPN Radio South Jersey.
The weather will be very hot with plenty of humidity in the forecast. The Birds look to go 4-0 on Sunday in a place that they have a hard time winning.
