The Eagles Playing To Repeat As Division Champs Headlines The Weekend

With a win against the Washington Commanders on Saturday, the Eagles can repeat as NFC East Champs. No team has repeated as division champions in the NFC East since 2004. The last team to repeat was the Eagles. That is the longest streak that no team has won back-to-back division titles in NFL history.
The Birds are 9-5 and currently hold the third spot in the NFC playoff picture. Washington isn’t having a good season and have been hit by the injury bug. Quarterback Jayden Daniels and TE Zack Ertz both suffered gruesome injuries and won’t play the rest of the season. Kickoff is Saturday at 5:00 pm, and you can catch all the action with Mike Quick and Merrill Reese with the call on 97.3 FM ESPN radio South Jersey.
The College Football playoffs are here, and the first round of the playoffs start Friday night with a rematch when Oklahoma hosting Alabama at 8pm; You can hear all of the College Football Playoffs on 973 ESPN's sister station Rock 104.1 FM, and the Rock 1041 Mobile App.
The Flyers play the NY Rangers on Saturday with 12:30pm scheduled puck drop at Madison Square Garden. The Flyers return home for one game next week before they hit the road for their annual Christmas/Holidays west coast trip. The Flyers currently have a 17-10-6 record, and stand six points behind the Carolina Hurricanes in the Metropolitan Division.
The Sixers are 14-11 in the early going and are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. We will cover it all this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.
On Saturday’s show, Producer Nick Earnshaw and former Kansas City Chiefs WR Dave Klemic will join me in the studio. On Sunday’s show, Producer Alex Berardis will join me in the studio as we will recap the Eagles vs Commanders game. The Sixers play Friday and Saturday, so we will talk Sixers basketball. Mr. Negadelphia P.J. Corda will check in with his thoughts on the Philly Sports scene brought to you by the Vassar Pool Service. In Hour Two, we will hear from my Fantasy Football Guru Brian Hartley with his picks for NFL Week 16 brought to you by Charlies Bar of Somers Point. Plus, I’ll try to talk my brother Bobby to come into the studio and mix it up with us.
