Like the famous Magician Harry Houdini, the Philadelphia Eagles escaped with a win against last Sunday as they won in Overtime against the Buffalo Bills.  Playing in a driving rain, the Eagles couldn’t get anything going in the first half as they scored just seven points for the second straight week.  The offense had just 99 yards of total offense and they had zero 3rd down conversations along with two turnovers.  But like a Championship Boxer who gets knocked down early, the Eagles got up off the mat and come out firing in the second half.  Led by their MVP Candidate Quarterback Jalen Hurts and the clutch kicking of Jake Elliott, the Birds pull off another win after trailing by ten at halftime.  In fact, the Eagles have tied an all-time NFL record winning four straight games after tailing at halftime.  This Sunday there won’t be any margin for error against the San Francisco 49ers who are 8-0 this season when both All-Pro Left Tackle Trent Williams and Offensive Weapon Deebo Samuel play this season.

The Sixers are 12-6 heading into Friday Night's game in Boston against the Celtics.  For now they are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and there are questions if Joel Embiid will play tonight after missing Wednesday’s game in New Orleans with an Illness and he was not seen at Friday Morning's Sixers shootaround.  We will talk about the results of the Sixers Friday night action this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.

The Flyers have dropped three out of their last four games after previously winning six of eight games.  They still remain one game over .500 at 11-10-2 as they head into the weekend.  After tying the game with seconds to go on Thursday night against the Devils, the Flyers lost in overtime.  Now the Flyers must face their cross-state rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins in a home-and-home set on Saturday and Monday nights.
