On the opposite end of the Philadelphia Sports spectrum from the Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers (all teams who had made the playoffs recent) is a Flyers organization that is in disarray with a roster devoid of talent and their General Manager seeming to not have any real direction or plan. GM Chuck Fletcher, now in his fifth year on the job, is looking at back-to-back losing seasons, the last time the Orange and Black did that was 1992-94. The Flyers are 5-6-3 in their last 14 home games and this current state of the organization is a far cry from what they used to be in decades past.

Philadelphia use to be the city that opposing teams and fans hated coming to with Philly fans standing behind some of the best players in the league. A once proud organization is now reduced to a laughing stock and what’s WORSE is on Thursday night, the New York Rangers fans invaded the Wells Fargo Center and humiliated the Flyers in their own building. When the newly acquired Rangers Forward Vladimir Tarasenko scored for the Rangers in Overtime, the building erupted! The Wells Fargo Center turned into Madison Square Garden in New York. What a disgrace! I have never seen the Flyers home ice advantage flipped like that and you would NEVER see Eagles fans take over the Linc! We will examine where everything went wrong with the Flyers organization this weekend!

The MAAC Basketball Tournament is coming back to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City next week. Last year, St. Peter's used this tournament to kick start their Cinderella run in March Madness and make it to the elite eight of the NCAA tournament. Tune into The Locker Room with Billy Schweim on Saturday and Sunday, we will be giving away four packs of tickets to lucky listeners to attend next week's MAAC tournament. Who will be this year's Cinderella? You can be in the building to see them before the rest of the country does! Tune in this weekend for your chance to win.

On Saturday’s show, former three-time All-Big Ten Linebacker Brad Quast joins me in the studio. We will be giving away tickets to the MAAC Basketball tournament plus talking the latest with the Sixers road trip and Eagles offseason! Don't miss The Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan checking in from Las Vegas. "The Book" will give his insights into betting on this weekend's sports action. Plus we will talk about the Phillies first week of spring training action!

On Sunday’s show, Mike Carlin joins me in the studio as we continue to give away tickets to the MAAC basketball Tournament at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. We will review the Sixers game at the Milwaukee Bucks and this Sunday is the first weekend we will have Phillies Baseball to discuss. In Hour Two, we will hear from Charlie O’Connor who covers the Flyers for The Athletic. Charlie will tell us what is wrong with the Flyers and what happened with the NHL Trade Deadline.

All that and more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, heard every Saturday and Sunday morning from 10am to Noon on 97.3 ESPN Radio.
